One of the problems a programmer runs into when making their applications available in deb format is the work it takes to do just that.

Now you can save some time thanks to Debian Package Maker, an application to help you create your own deb packages, compatible with the Debian Linux distribution, and other distributions based on it, like Ubuntu.

Debian Package Maker provides a clear, concise interface for editing your new deb package configuration. It organizes each of the aspects to add and edit in the new file into tabs.

You can create deb packages in two different modes: Target mode, or Source mode. Use binaries with Target mode and your application's source code with Source mode to create your new package.
